Willie’s Restaurants 


Willie opened his first restaurant, Hollywood and Main, in June 1990 in Flushing, Queens. He had a vision for a steakhouse unlike any other, utilizing the highest quality products available and offering uncompromising service. Through obsessive attention to detail, he managed to elevate service to an art form, with captains trained to anticipate their customers’ every need.




Uncle Jack's Steakhouses - 

In March of 1996, Degel began work on his dream of building the best steakhouse in New York City. He found a small store in Bayside, Queens and got to work. He personally designed the restaurant interior with a fanatical attention to detail and modified the menu until it was perfect. His creation, Uncle Jack’s Steakhouse, opened in 1996. It was an immediate success. Willie worked for the next seven years refining and perfecting its operations and receiving numerous awards and positive reviews in the process. In July of 2003, Willie opened his second Uncle Jack’s Steakhouse on Manhattan’s west side. The prohibition-style Victorian Saloon had hand-carved mahogany bar and walls, copper pressed ceilings, stained glass fixtures, and a wealth of other opulent details.

Uncle Jack’s On Canton Street - Uncle Jack’s on Canton Street, in Historic Roswell, Georgia, features classic American dishes with a modern twist.
